SWARMING (2024)
role: choreographer , performer
In the late summer heat, dancers, a saxophonist and an electronic composer gathered and took flight in the garden of Tropez, an art space and pool, exploring their collective symbiosis and instinctual way of organizing and congregating in community. How can humans from today's (perhaps overly) technologically advanced society still learn from the animalistic ways of tending to their surroundings? What are the repercussions if they continue to ignore their interconnectedness with each other and nature? This performance is open to all, and will be followed by a movement lecture / demonstration for kids!
